The truth behind 12 of the most common arguments made by powerful “safe sex” organizations against the abstinence-until-marriage-message.
Over the years, as concerned parents and family-friendly groups have taken a stand against the push to get condom-based “safe-sex” programs into schools and youth groups, sex-education promoters have had to craft new arguments in order further their guilt-free casual sex agenda.
Their misleading arguments have been repeated so often and so loudly than many, if not most, Americans have come to believe them. But their arguments simply do not stand up to scrutiny.
Each of the 12 most commonly cited arguments are refuted in Focus on the Family’s Take Twelve booklet. Though this booklet is older, it still contains relevant research, arguments and support for abstinence-centered education.
