Author of Pedophilia Guide Arrested on Obscenity Charges

by CitizenLink Team

Sheriff’s deputies from Florida traveled to Colorado today to arrest the man who self-published a how-to book on pedophilia.

The obscenity charges were filed after Philip Greaves, of Pueblo, Colo., mailed a signed copy of his book — “The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure: a Child-lover’s Code of Conduct” — to an undercover deputy in Polk County, Fla. The book created a national outcry last month when it was made available online. Amazon.com removed the book within a few days.

“The message is very clear,” Polk Sheriff Grady Judd said. “You’re not going to write a book where you violate the obscenity laws of Florida. Clearly, this violated the obscenity laws.”

Judd is seeking extradition of Greaves to Florida. “I would like him to spend Christmas in our county jail eating processed turkey,” Judd said.
