CitizenLink has a unique opportunity to advance family and moral issues by sponsoring the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), the largest annual gathering of conservatives in the country. Thousands of people will flock to the nation’s capital Feb. 10-12 to hear from key leaders in the movement.

Confirmed speakers include former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Gov. Mitt Romney, former Sen. Rick Santorum and Ann Coulter. Invited speakers include Glenn Beck, former Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Marco Rubio.

In the last few years, CPAC has drifted toward the economic and limited government aspects of conservatism. Since social issues, such as the importance of marriage, family and the sanctity of human life, are foundational to the conservative movement and the strength of our country, CitizenLink is sponsoring the event for the second year.

Sonja Swiatkiewicz, senior director of Issue Response at CitizenLink, said: “Our team will be engaging with those attendees who may not have previously given pro-life and pro-marriage perspectives much consideration — in order to ensure family issues are not lost amid the other important issues that will also be discussed.”
