“Vote Like Their Lives Depend On It”: Family Policy Alliance Releases Trump/Biden Video Comparison Ad

Released on the day of the first Trump/Biden debate, the video educates voters about the candidates’ stances on life

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – Family Policy Alliance – a pro-family ministry – today released a new Trump/Biden comparison ad: “Vote Like Their Lives Depend On It.” The 90-second video, which will also be released in shorter versions, educates voters about both presidential tickets’ stances on life and abortion. It encourages potential voters to vote this year because of the stakes for babies in the womb and their mothers.

If the slogan “Vote Like Their Lives Depend On It,” sounds familiar, that’s because it is.

“The inspiration for the ad came from a surprising source, Michelle Obama, who is not pro-life,” said Autumn Leva, Vice President of Strategy at Family Policy Alliance. “During the Democratic Convention, Michelle Obama passionately said to her viewers: “We have got to vote for Joe Biden like our lives depend on it.” Except—she’s exactly wrong. Our lives likely don’t depend on who gets elected—but the lives of babies in the womb truly do. The policies supported by candidates up and down the ticket will either work to save lives or destroy more of them. There is no middle option. That’s why we have to vote like their lives depend on it.”

Family Policy Alliance is releasing the video nationally but is especially targeting two groups of voters:

  • Voters in swing states who are pro-life but unsure of how they feel about President Trump
  • Voters who are pro-life but often don’t vote in elections
