ATLANTA –Today, Senatory Marty Harbin introduced SB 221, a “religious freedom restoration act,” supported by Family Policy Alliance of Georgia.

A statement from Family Policy Alliance of Georgia President Cole Muzio:

“The First Amendment guarantees the ability to freely exercise one’s faith, yet this basic, natural right has come under increasing attack. SB 221 protects the freedom to think, believe, and live out those beliefs that most of us take for granted every day. We strongly stand with Sen. Harbin and look forward to seeing the faith and conscience of every Georgian be given the same fundamental protections as the freedom of speech, press, and assembly that the Constitution guarantees and the Federal RFRA – mirrored by this legislation – affirms.”
